RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 : Notification Released

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) has released RRB NTPC 2024 notificafion for Graduate posts ( Level 5, Level 6 posts) and Undergraduate posts (Level 2 & Level 3) through an employment newspaper on 02 September 2024. The recruitment drive is set to fill a total of 11,558 vacencies across various posts for both graduate and undergraduate candidates. This year the total vacencies released through the RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 is 11,558. At the Graduate level, the total number of vacencies announced is 8113 and the Undergraduate level is 3445. The recruitment for graduate candidates covers various posts, including :

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 : Eligibility Criteria

The candidates those willing to apply to the RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 must be eligible as per the minimum eligibility requirements set by the board. the educational qualification and age limit for candidates willing to apply for RRB NTPC 2024 exam are as mentioned below.

Educational Qualification

The vacencies are divided into two categories so the educational qualifications are required for both categories are also different. Candidates must be holding  the minimum education qualification to be eligible to apply for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 Exam. 

• Graduate Candidates :- Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized University.
• Undergraduate Candidates :- Candidates must have passed 10+2 ( Higher Secondary) from a recognized Board.

Age Limit

The RRB NTPC 2024 selection process comprises five stages. Successful completion of All five stages makes applicants eligible for RRB NTPC recruitment 2024. The selection process includes the following stages -

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 : Exam Pattern

CBT-1

• CBT-1 is the first stage of the RRB NTPC exam and is applicable to both undergraduate and graduate posts. 
• There is a negative marking. One-third of the marks for a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

CBT-2

• CBT-2 is the second stage of the RRB NTPC exam. and it has a different difficulty level compared to CBT-1.
• Negative marking is applicable in CBT-2 as well, with one-third of the marks allotted to a question deducted for incorrect answer.
• Qualifying CBT-2 is crucial for proceeding to the next stages of the RRB NTPC selection process.

CBAT

• Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) is conducted for Assistant Station Master & Traffic Assistant posts.
• Typing Skill Test is conducted for post like Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist and Senior Time Keeper.
