SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 : Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 depends on Educational Qualification, Age limit, Experience, Local Language etc. A detailed analysis of these factors is given below.

Educational Qualification

Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University in Indian or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

Age Limit (as on 30/04/2025)

Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 30th April 2025. The candidates must have born not later than 30/04/2004 and not earlier than 01/05/1995 (both days inclusive).

SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 : Selection Process

The selection process for the SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Recruitment 2025 consists of four key stages. Candidates must carefully clear each phase to move to the next stage of the recruitment process.

Online Examination

The first stage is an objective-type online test, which assessses candidates on subjects. This stage is crucial for shortlisting candidates for further evaluation.

Screening

After the online test, shortlisted candidates applications and experience documents will be screened by a designated committee. This stage helps verify the work experience and other eligibility conditions in details.

Interview

Candidates who qualify the screening round will be called for a personal interview. This round evaluates a candidates communication skills, confidence, banking knowledge and overall suitability for the role.

SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 : Salary Structure

As per the official SBI CBO Notification 2025, the initial salary of a Circle Based Officer (CBO) will be in the scale of JMGS-I (Rs. 45450-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920, at the start of the scale i.e. Rs. 36,000/- plus one increment for each completed year of service rendered in officer cadre in the Scheduled Commercial Bank and Regional Rural Bank. The official will also be eligible for DA, H.R.A and other allowances and perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.]
