NIACL AO Recruitment 2025 : Eligibility Criteira

The candidates must hold the required educational qualification, age limit to be eligible for applying for Generalist Administrative Officer in New India Assurance. Below we have discussed the detailed eligibility criteria for NIACL AO 2025.

Nationality

A candidate must be -

• A citizen of India.
• A Tibetan refugee who travelled to India before January 1, 1962 to permanently live in India.
• A person of India origin who has permanently settled in India after migrating from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam.
• Nepali and Bhutanese subjects.

Educational Qualification

For Generalists 

• Graduate/Post-graduate in any discipline from a recognised University at least 60% marks in either of the degree exams for General candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

For Accounts

• Chartered Accountant (ICAI)/Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, earlier known as ICWAI) and Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)  OR  MBA Finance/PGDM Finance/M.Com with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

The candidates should be of age group 21 to 30 years (for the general candidates) to apply for NIACL AO 2025. The candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1995 and not later than 1st August 2004 (both dates inclusive).

NIACL AO Recruitment 2025 : Selection Process

The eligible candiates is selected for NIACL AO 2025 through their performances in three different stages. The candidates have to qualify in each stage to get selected for the post of Administrative Officer Generelist Posts.

• Phase 1 - NIACL AO Prelims Exam
• Phase 2 - NIACL AO Mains Exam
• Phase 3 - Interview

NIACL AO Recruitment 2025 : Exam Pattern

There would be two online examinations in NIACL AO Recruitment 2025 wherein Phase-1 is objective only and Phase-2 will be objective and descriptive both.

Phase 1 : Prelims Examination

• The questions are from three sections in NIACL Phase 1 Exam.
• There are srctional time of 20 minutes for each section.
• There are 100 Multiple Choice Qustions (MCQs) for 1 mark each.
• There is negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer.

Phase 2 : Mains Examination

• The NIACL AO Mains Exam is divided into 2 sections : Objective and Descriptive type and the candidates have to pass each section.
• The duration of the Objective type paper is of 2 hours and for descriptive, it is of 30 minutes.
• There are 200 MCQs-type questiona and 2 Essay/Letter Writting questions.
• The descriptive test is conducted in the English language only.
• There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer.

NIACL AO Recruitment 2025 : Salary Structure

The basic pay NIACL AO Salary is Rs. 50,925/- on the scale of Rs. 50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765. The selected candidates will be paid with total emoluments of approximately Rs. 90,000/- per month (Metropolitan Centres) with other allowances. Other benefits such as coverage under National Pension System governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc.
