UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025 : Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteira in terms of
educational qualification and age limit to apply for the vacancies. The
Eligibility Criteira for UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025 are as follows-
Nationality
The interested candidates must be a citizen of India to be eligible
for this post. If not, the candidates can be still considered eligible
if he/she is either -
- A Tibetan refugee who travelled to India before January 1, 1962 to permanently live in India.
- A person of India origin who has permanently settled in India after migrating from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam.
- Nepali and Bhutanese subjects.
Educational Qualification
For EO/AO Posts
- A bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized university.
For APFC Posts
- Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in Any Stream from any recognized university in India will be eligible for this post.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for UPSC EPFO Recruitment for EO/AO posts is
30 years and for APFC, the upper age limit is 35 years.

UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025 : Selection Process
The UPSC EPFO 2025 selection process comprises two main
stages :
- A written examination
- Followed by an interview

Written Examination
- The Recruitment Test will be an offline Exam consisting of Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) followed by an Interview round.

UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025 : Salary Structure
UPSC offers handsome salaries to the candidates
shortlisted for the officer posts. The payscale of
EPFO Officer is at Level 8 in the Pay Matrix as
per the 7th CPC. This will imply that the salary range
will be Rs. 43,600 to 55,200. The pay scale thus become
Rs. 9300-34800. UPSC also offers other allowances and
benefits to the candidates selected.
